Specialist Clinical Psychologist

British Psychological Society Chartered Member | HCPC registered

I am a highly experienced accredited Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years NHS experience supporting families facing feeding challenges. I have extensive training and experience working with children and adults with Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) and neurodivergence. I offer thorough assessment and evidence-based therapies to support your eating goals.

I work with people experiencing a range of difficulties with selective eating, from very young children who are struggling to move on from the natural ‘picky eating’ stage, to those experiencing longer term difficulties such as ARFID, emetophobia (fear of being sick) and everything in between.

Many of the people I work with have medical conditions that affect their eating, such as IBS and gastrointestinal disorders, or food allergies and intolerances that have led to a fear of food. Others may have a history of being fed by tube (such as a PEG or NG tube) that has affected their relationship with food.

A large number of individuals experiencing challenges with food have a diagnosis such as autism, ADHD or identify as neurodivergent. When I work with people towards their eating goals, we consider all the factors that may be affecting this, including neurodiversity.
